PayPal Widget

User Agreement

Effective date: 24 June 2026 · Last updated: 24 June 2026

Please read this User Agreement ("Agreement") carefully before using PayPal Widget ("the App"). By installing or using the App, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Independent app notice. PayPal Widget is an independent, third-party application. It is not owned by, affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by PayPal Holdings, Inc. "PayPal" is a trademark of PayPal Holdings, Inc.; all other trademarks belong to their respective owners.

1. The service

The App displays your PayPal account balance on your Android device and home-screen widget, refreshing it periodically. To do so, it connects to your PayPal account through PayPal's official "Log in with PayPal" (OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect) authorization, with your consent. The App is informational only: it does not move, hold, send, or receive money.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid PayPal account in good standing. By using the App you represent that you meet these requirements and that the PayPal account you connect belongs to you.

3. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to this Agreement.

4. Your responsibilities

5. Relationship with PayPal

The App relies on PayPal's APIs. Your use of PayPal remains governed by your own agreements with PayPal. We are not responsible for PayPal's services, availability, fees, or decisions, and we are not a payment provider.

6. Accuracy & availability — "as is"

Balance and account information is provided for convenience and may be delayed, cached, or temporarily unavailable, and may not always match the exact figure shown in PayPal. The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Do not rely on the App for financial, tax, or legal decisions.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, nor for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the App. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App (which, if the App is free, is zero).

8. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by logging out, uninstalling it, and revoking its access in your PayPal settings. We may suspend or terminate the service, in whole or in part, at any time and without notice.

9. Changes

We may modify the App or this Agreement. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. The "Effective date" reflects the current version.

10. Governing law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Spain, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
