What is Widget for PayPal Balance?
An independent Android app that shows your PayPal balance, plus your daily and monthly profit or loss, on a home-screen widget refreshed every 10 seconds.
Is it official PayPal software?
No. It is a third-party app that connects to your account using PayPal's official Login with PayPal API. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by PayPal.
Is logging in secure?
Yes. Authentication uses PayPal's official OAuth. Your password is entered only on PayPal's pages and is never seen or stored by the app. Tokens are kept on a secure server, never inside the app.
How often does the balance update?
Every 10 seconds by default, via a lightweight background service. You can change the interval in settings.
What is the daily and monthly profit/loss?
The net change of your balance since the start of the day, and over the last 30 days, shown with clear up/down colours.
Can I customize the widget?
Extensively. Choose which figures to show, the size, theme, accent colour and refresh interval.
Does it cost anything?
No, the app is free.
Is it on Google Play?
It is coming soon to Google Play. For now you can install the direct Android download.
Which languages are supported?
English, Spanish, Catalan, French, Russian and Urdu, including full right-to-left layout for Urdu.
How do I delete my data?
Log out in the app to clear your session and revoke server tokens, and you can also revoke access from your PayPal settings.
